We had visions to get married at the beach and little did we know you could actually get married ON the beach! We found The Nook on a Topsail FB site and scrolled for pics and videos to see what services were provided. We were thrilled when we saw a night celebration on the beach.
We connected with Beth and she helped plan the beach wedding for nighttime. However, high tide had us alter plans. Beth was accommodating in figuring out alternatives that still fit with our vision. She even helped us find a reception venue nearby. The cherry on top is that she takes amazing photos and reels to capture the moments!

What an amazing experience! The Nook took a dream of being married on the beach and helped make it a beautiful reality. We had a small, intimate wedding on the beach. When I was standing at the entrance looking down the sandy path, seeing my now husband standing in front of the beautiful arbor with the ocean behind, my family watching for me to walk down the path, the music playing, I was in tears. Picture perfect. Cary is an excellent officiant. He made everyone feel at ease and as if he knew us for years.

I live all the way down in New Mexico and spent an entire year looking for a venue that wouldn't break the bank but could also be enough for our family and friends to come together and bet here for our big day.
Beth was a life saver! She had options for the venue varying from the beach to a woodsy feel. She set up and decorated everything for us and gave us amazing recommendations to a wonderful local photographer and bakery. I twas even raining on our special day (good luck though!) and she went out of her way to set something up for us in her barn. It was gorgeous. Even though I spent the entire time bawling my eyes out (happy tears) this was the best experience for my husband and I. She is such a kind soul and made this the best day of our lives. If I could do it all over again I would pick her over and over again. If you're looking for a cozy or intimate wedding ceremony this is it. Everything we could have asked for. Thank you for the perfect day. I t was worth driving cross country for.

This is the sweetest couple. They clearly have a passion for providing a beautiful ceremony for military couples who think their only option is a court house wedding. I didn't want a court house wedding, so I was looking for decorations for a small ceremony when I found [The Nook]. Beth was so kind and willing to work with my husband's uncertain work schedule. Carey's words were beautiful, and he said such a wonderful prayer over our marriage. They helped us to know what do do and what to expect with the paperwork and planning for the ceremony. I would recommend this to anyone. They made our day special, and the pictures we got at the property are beautiful. We didn't see anything until we showed up for our wedding. Reggie and I were blown away at the simplistic and elegant touch she left for us and our guests. The sign read "The best day ever" and that sign was absolutely right. We toured the Nook nine months before our wedding and we both fell in love with the atmosphere and ambiance of the location. When we sat down with Beth and told her our idea for our wedding she lit up with excitement and we knew we were making the right choice in selecting The Nook as the place for our special day. From day one we were filled with confidence that not only could Beth pull off our idea but make it into something even more special and she did. We were blown away with everything she did to bring our Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) themed wedding together. The colors, the sugar skulls, the flowers and even the pictures we gave her to put on the ofrenda we're put together with so much love and care which was not surprising as Beth treated us like part of her family from the start. We and our guest felt welcomed from the moment we all arrived until the moment we left. You will not go wrong in choosing The Nook and it's absolutely wonderful owners to share in your special event. Mrs. Beth made sure to get every detail I wanted correct and even sent photos to confirm that things were the way I wanted. She and her husband are so pleasant to work with and they made sure our day went smoothly. She allowed my photographer to get photos before and after the ceremony and never rushed to ensure we got every shoot we wanted. They prices are very affordable for everything that is offered.

The Nook did an over the top job with my entire wedding. Beth was a blessing from the very beginning. I have some health issues that were giving me some trouble and she made my wedding seamless and beautiful. It could have gone so differently.
From go I knew Beth was meant to be, her loving nature and hospitality was so genuine and she forgot nothing. Our outside event became an inside event with the flick of mother nature’s wrist, however you would have thought it had been planned that way. Chris & I cannot say enough. I will go on to say the all inclusive event was unbelievably reasonable, and I would have paid twice the bottom line. The wedding was just perfect. I can not say enough great things about the Nook. My husband and I renewed our vows on our 25th wedding anniversary on the beach at Surf City, NC. The weather was not going to cooperate for the original time we had established and in short notice we were able to push the ceremony to earlier in the day!
The arbor and flowers were beautiful along with the cake! The service was perfect and the officiant did an amazing job. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. And the photographer she recommended was just as outstanding!

She took care of everything, even catering to the young flower girls, so they felt special and grown up. Beth was a huge blessing from beginning to end for my son and daughter-in-laws wedding. The moment I began speaking to her I could immediately feel her passion for what she does. She paid attention to every detail , the venue is absolutely stunning and most importantly she made us feel loved , welcomed and very accommodating to our requests. Everything was perfect!
